Bible Study Topics for Ministry
Bible study topics can be something very easy to come up with but there are also times when coming up with a good topic can be actually difficult. It's just like a writer's block, sometimes a great author just can't seem to put the pen to the paper and come up with something that they like. And there are times when a youth minister or youth leader just can't come up with interesting Bible study topics to share with their youth ministry.
Here are a few tips for you to use when coming up with interesting Bible study topics to share with your youth ministry.
First and foremost you should make sure that every topic that you come up with has relevance with teens today. If you are teens can connect with the topic that you have come up with for them to study than they are more likely to be interested and participate to the fullest extent. A great way to find out what is interesting to your students is to simply ask them. Here is a great way to generate interesting Bible study topics.
At the beginning of one class give each student a pen and a piece of paper. Have them write down five topics that they would like to have your youth ministry cover in the next few weeks. If your youth ministry has just 10 members and each of your students wrote down five topics, all of a sudden you now have 50 different topics to get you started.
The Bible study topics that you come up with and share with your youth ministry should also be timely. So if there is something happening in the world that is making big news, use that as a topic to connect with Scripture to share with your students. By making sure that your Bible study topics are timely you instantly create a connection with the material that you are teaching to the world that we are living in.
Your Bible study topics should also allow for open debate within your youth ministry. There was nothing wrong with being a little controversial with a topic that you deliver. I've been a little controversial, you can almost guarantee that you will have a great open discussion with your youth group at the end of the lesson.
Bible study topics should always be interesting and should always be taught with the enthusiasm that you have for our Lord Jesus Christ. If your passion and your love for God shines through in the material that you are teaching to your students, even if the topic is a little boring or mundane, you can capture your students attention and imagination with your presentation.
No matter what Bible study topics you choose to share with your youth ministry keep in mind that the most important part of any lesson is that it is founded strongly on Scripture and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Have fun with the Bible study topics that you choose to share with your students and do your best to lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Is this site keeping you from Bible study?
I think this site is addictive and It's really taking away from time I could be spent doing Bible study. I can't seem to stop it tho. Anyone else have this problem or feel this way?
