Is there such thing as a "giant" monarch butterfly?
I found a video, but have not watch because I freak out with giant insects, saying giant monarch butterfly. I curious, how big can a caterpillar can get, how big of the can-coon before turning a giant monarch, if there is such thing? Also, if there are giant monarchs, where they typical live as terms as of part of the world?
The monarch butterfly is with a wing-span of 8.9–10.2 cm not the smallest but also not a giant butterfly like the Queen Alexandra Birdwing butterfly, with females being the larger of the species having a wingspan of up to 30cm.
The largest "Monarch" butterfly found anywhere in the world. is to see in El Rosario Sanctuary near Angangueo, Mexico, but I could not find exact data.
