SMALL GROUPS / CHURCH PROGRAMMING - These two emphases have been the traditional bread and butter of the local church when it comes to making disciples. But, according to the Reveal Study of the Willow Creek Association, they have not been very effective in producing mature disciples. What is missing is the personal touch - one on one relational discipleship. Those who learn coaching skills make unbelievable disciple-makers. That's why one of our specialties is training lay disciple-makers in coach-approach skills. Discipleship coaches can help others write and put into action a spiritual growth plan.
