It depends on the university you plan on attending, they all have different requirements. I go to an art school and for me, I set up a portfolio interview. It's when you go in and show them your work. Since most of your work, (I'm assuming) is 3d and on a large scale, I would recommend taking good quality photos of them, then inserting the photos in a portfolio book, make sure you have a clean presentation. However, always check with what the school suggests. You may also be able to send in your portfolio online or through the mail if the school is far away. Just check with the school. As for making a portfolio, get good photographs. Make sure to include a variety of pieces that show your range, skill, creativity and technique.
