Arco de Triunfo de París
The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most spectacular monumental Paris, partly due to its special location in Place de l'Etoile (now Place Charles de Gaulle), which depart radially 12 avenues, one of them the famous Champs Elysees. Thus offers an impressive view of the Louvre and Place de la Concorde in the east end of the Champs Elysees, and the Grande Arche de la Defense west end of Avenue de l'Armee.
The Palais Bourbon - French National Assembly

From the Louvre, with its rectilinear layout can be viewed in succession the Arc du Carrousel, Jardin des Tuileries, the Obelisk de la Concorde and the avenue leading to the Arc de Triomphe. This straight path is continued beyond to reach the Grande Arche de la Defense.
La Conciergerie
The Conciergerie, the imposing building that occupies the western end of Ile de la Cité is the oldest remnant of the royal palace in Paris, turned into a prison in the fifteenth century. Having been the site of a royal residence since the Roman times, were the Capetian who since the tenth century, to demonstrate their power over the feudal lords built the huge palace.

And this tower, designed and built in the Roaring Twenties, gradually gained the privileged place that had only disputed the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and the Louvre.The Eiffel Tower was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 to be held in commemoration of the centenary of the French Revolution. Gustave Eiffel and his company were the entrepreneurs of such a project that began in 1887 was completed in March 1889, just over two years later. The work generated no little controversy, especially among artists of the time, who thought of the tower as an "iron monster" in the middle of the city of romance.
Panteón
On the hill of Sainte-Genevieve, in the Quartier Latin, Latin Quarter, surrounded by schools and universities, stands the imposing figure of one of the most important monuments of Paris: The Pantheon. During most of the nineteenth century, when yet there was neither the Eiffel Tower or Sacre Coeur and even less the Montparnasse Tower, the Pantheon provided the best overview of the city and the region. Is itself a masterpiece of architecture as a whole, while an emblem of the history of France over the last 250 years. The Pantheon is now primarily a Republican necropolis where the history of France is indistinguishable from the world of scientists, writers, clerics and politicians.
