Modern Art can make a fabulous (Christmas) gift, for the person who enjoys the style of open plan living. The hardest thing? Actually giving it away! Can someone help me decorate my living room?
My roommate came with a brown couch (that looks very deep plum) which is beautiful but I need help with color schemes for walls/rug/accents. Most of our furniture is that dark brown/black ikea color. I was thinking about a light purple grey for the walls--No idea for carpet. I don't want it to be too busy. Any ideas for both?
I agree with the light purple walls, and for the floor i'd suggest going hard wood or laminate with an area rug in either a purple, brown or white. unless you want to go all carpet (which i wouldn't recomend) and if you do go all carpet, maybe a light tope tanish colour.
