Worth of a weeping crimson queen japanese maple 18-21" grade?
We just bought a new home, and we were told we have a rare tree in the backyard as part of our landscaping. The woman who sold us the home told us that the tree would eventually be worth thousands because it is a rare form of the original crimson queen japanese maple. I am not exactly sure if this is true. Anyone have any info on these trees? I have been researching them and they seem to sell for abuot 20-50 now. The original bought price was $127. Don't think that even makes a difference. Any info no this tree would be great as I have never had one or heard of them! Thanks!

Yes, your little tree could be worth some money someday if it was being grown at a tree nursery and could be easily dug up with a tree spade and sold to someone.
