Dating Advice For Women: Where To Meet Men
One of the most read topics in dating advice for women is where to meet men. Meeting a man that you would want to date or even just hang out with is actually easy. If you're a women that uses the singles scene to meet men, it could be hard to tell the ‘good' ones from the ‘bad' ones. The average bar or club is full of many tricks and people are mostly there for a good time. If you meet someone at work, this could be risky if the relationship doesn't work out. However, there is still hope.
One of the best places to meet men are at events and organizations that you are affiliated with. This is a great place to meet others that you have things in common with. While attending an event, you are able to casually socialize and interact with others as well as observe how well your potential mate does the same. If you haven't joined a membership club or event, be sure to take time to see if there is one in your area that meets your interest. There are clubs and organizations that cover just about anything you can think of, and many single men are involved.
Church is also a great place to meet single men. However, don't let the meaning fool you. When trying to find a single man at church, be mindful that he still has a ‘human' personality. Don't assume that a single man at church is a ‘good' man. More importantly, if you are going to go to church, be sure to go for the right reasons as well. Men who attend church don't want to feel as though you're just there to snag them. Meeting a quality woman is just important to them as it is to you meeting a quality man.
Another place to meet single men would is by getting involved with civic organizations. Many single men love to be mentors as well as giving back to the community. You might also want to be apart of political campaigns. If you're into politics or world events, this would be a great endeavor for you. However, be sure to be knowledgeable about the cause. Men like to take about their quests and the ways they've contributed to the success of a mission. Therefore, if you're going to be involved, make sure you're active. Know what's going on.
Lastly, if you have friends, ask them to introduce you to prospects. You friends know people that you've haven't met. Let them know you're interested, and be serious about the opportunity. Remember that know one likes to be the middle- man. If you're going to date a ‘friend of a friend', you have to be able to carry on a mature courtship.
If all else fails, visit a quality online dating service, or simply hang out in the places you love. Also, remember that you are more likely to get approached if you are alone. Therefore, be courteous conscious of opportunity everywhere you go. Oh, and be sure to look attractive too. =)

Are men interested in meeting someone online if that person recently is unemployed?
I am wanting to go back online dating, but currently unemployed-I feel a little self conscious when I meet someone and they ask what I do for a living. It would be harder to do things together when one person isn't working and I am not the type that likes the man to pay for everything-guess it's a pride thing. Are men usually turn off by this and would they still continue to pursue a relationship with this person if they like her?
Most men aren't going to care. If you talk about money often, or the situation, they may run in fear of you looking for someone to support you.
I would use the term "in-between-careers" rather than unemployed.
