What is the best wide angle lens to use for Nikon D80 for landscape photos?
I want to be able to take wide angle photos of objects close to the lens such as a rock, and also show the mountains and landscape in the back and keep it all in detail, giving a feeling like you can just walk right into the photo. What would be the best wide angle lens to use? Im using Nikon D80. 10-24mm the best?
I've the Tokina 12-24mm. Its nice and solid and feels really well built. Very happy with it. You can get right up close to a boulder on the ground and get some great perspective.
The extra 2mm with the sigma 10-24mm doesn't sound much, but at these angles it will!
