Travel to Europe – Experience Westminster Abbey and Romania Tourism
The first place on any world traveler's itinerary is to travel to Europe. Europe is the birthplace of Western culture and it is home to many serene architectural structures. Its countries have many varying cultures and languages making it a truly diverse continent to visit. Romania tourism has also increased as a result of medical tourism. Romania is also a beautiful place to visit to experience many of its natural attractions. Romania has many spa resorts which centre on its many thermal springs.
Romania tourism is also hassle free as most people manage to speak English or French, and a lot of American goods are also available easily over here. So much so that more Americans are enlist to stay in the US naval base in Romania. The Romanian capital of Bucharest is also famous for its happening nightlife. It has a lot of trendy night clubs.
Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey is a church of St. Peter which is situated in Westminster, London. It is more fondly known as Westminster Abbey. This church is one of the most famous churches in the world. It is the coronation and burial site of many of the members of the royal family. It is also the burial site of many of the worlds greatest literary heroes like Charles Dickons, Rudyard Kipling and Charlotte Bronte to name a few. It also houses the tombs of Queen Elizabeth the first and her sister, and also the tomb of Charles Darwin, the world famous, English naturalist.
William the Conqueror, and King Harold were the first to be coronated here, and after this the coronations of many English monarchs has continues. Westminster Abbey has also been the preferred destination for many a royal weddings and it will soon play host to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Westminster Abbey is an architectural marvel. With its famous pointed arches, fly buttresses and ribbed vaulting it displays the characteristics of Gothic architecture. There is a roomy area situated before the start of the quire and the high alter, which allows for the various coronation ceremonies to take place there. The Westminster Abbey also houses a beautiful Lady Chapel which is said to be the most perfect building built in England. Its building was funded extravagantly by Henry VII in 1503 to 1519.

What mountains? There were and still are many mountains in medieval Europe. I think mountains were considered to be hostile places since they werent too suited for agricultural purposes. They might have been used as hunting territories maybe.
