Norwich is a unique place to live that offers plenty of things to do. With its magnificent Cathedral and unspoilt cobbled streets, Norwich was the first city in England to join the World League of Historical Cities alongside the likes of Rome, Prague, Vienna and Barcelona, which, combined with its location near the east coast, only underlines what makes Norwich such an attractive and sought-after place to live.
At the same time, however, Norwich is not just a remnant from the past, as it is also a perfect choice of place to live for the requirements of bustling modern life. The city has many top restaurants and nightclubs and bars that draw in avid revellers and diners from across the region. It also famously has a pub for every day of the year! Norwich also has strong transport links, including an excellent half-hourly train service to London, in addition to esteemed educational institutions such as the University of East Anglia.

Which are your favourite castles, cathedrals or other buildings in Britain?
My 1st choice would be Carnarvon Castle; with Harlech Castle, Norwich Cathedral and Lincoln Cathedral receiving special mentions.
Ive been to Carnarvon Castle about three times, and enjoyed just leisurly being there.
Until last summer, when I went again with my daughter and two grandchildren age 5 and 3.
It was a lovely day, and we were just sat on the grass, when the man from the booth where you pay, came out and started waving his arms and shouting at us to get off the grass, and it wasnt allowed.
It wasnt a problem when Ive been there before, and we wont be going again.
But to answer your question. I like Conway Castle, though its a bit dangerous to climb up and walk round.
I also loved York Minster.
Id love to travel to all the places mentioned, because I just love the history of it all.
How were they able to build such magnificent buildings without our modern technology, when all we can build are high rise ugly boxes.
