Eva Longoria, Tony Parker are officially divorced

Eva Longoria, Tony Parker are officially divorced

Longoria, 35, and Parker, 28, have been married since July 7, 2007. The two wed in a lavish ceremony held at Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th Century castle on the outskirts of Paris. The two have no children together.

Reports surfaced recently that Longoria is heading for splitsville with Parker after finding hundreds of text messages on his mobile from the wife of one of his team members.

The actress, best known for her portrayal of Gabrielle Solis in the hit comedy series, hit the headlines two months ago when she filed for divorce from her basketball star hubby citing irreconcilable differences, amid allegations he had been unfaithful.

Pair's marriage dissolved
Longoria and Parker's marriage was dissolved on Friday (28Jan11), according to TMZ.com.

Parker's lawyer slipped into a Texas courthouse Friday with legal papers that officially ended his marriage to the Hollywood actress.

Likewise, Longoria's lawyer quietly filed legal papers that same day to dismiss a divorce petition she filed in L.A. County Superior Court, clearing the way for the dissolution.

A source tells In Touch Weekly: "The divorce documents will come through today, she is happy and moving forward with her life."

Eva has already been linked to a new man, Penelope Cruz's 25-year old brother Eduardo Cruz.

Eva, Tony rocked with infidelity rumors
Speculations were rife in recent months that Longoria is seeking to end her three-year marriage with basketball star Tony Parker after discovering that he had exchanged hundreds of personal text messages with a mutual female friend over the course of nearly a year.

In November, Longoria filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court, just one day after her rep shot down reports that Parker had done the same in a Texas court.

In the filing, Longoria cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their divorce, and requested that her name be restored to Eva Jacqueline Longoria, which she had changed it to Eva Longoria Parker in 2007.

Who's the other woman?
Last year infidelity rumors plagued the couple. As per reports, Parker had been cheating on his wife Longoria with two women, including one who is the wife of one of his San Antonio Spurs teammates.

The word is that Erin Barry, the wife of Parker's former Spurs teammate Brent Barry, is other woman who got in between Tony and Eva Longoria.

Is there going to be anymore official star wars movies?

Will there ever be another star wars movie by George Lucas?

Short answer: Not a single chance in hell.

Long Answer: When Lucas first wrote the story line for SW it was a 12 episode mega saga. He wanted to tell it in the same fashion as the old Flash Gordon series back in the day. He realized that wouldn't work so after getting a little support from Fox he made what we now know as ep IV. Whether or not if it was supposed to actually be ep I or not is something that only Lucas knows and won't tell but there is verifiable proof that the first working title for what we now know as ep V was "2 of 12" ... in the end it is irrelevant anyways. A New Hope is different from the other movies in two ways. First it is the only one of them that can be seen as a stand alone movie. By that I mean it had a definite beginning and a definite end. If it had flopped as many, including Lucas to a certain extent, thought it would nobody would have had to know that there was more to the story. Second it is the only one of the movies that comes even remotely close to being told as the story line went. After that Lucas made two HUGE changes that led to the 6 movie epic saga that we have now. The first was to combine the characters of Darth Vader & Anakin Skywalker into one ... originally they were two different characters. This change also took any back story of the characters that were in the prequels and threw most of it out the window as the main theme of that back story was about two Jedi, Obi-Wan & Anakin, who were best of friends and who were betrayed by Obi-Wan's apprentice Darth Vader who killed Anakin Skywalker. In any event this change led to the fabled "9 episode" story. The first trilogy was to be about the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker, the second trilogy was to be about the rise of Luke Skywalker and the redemption of Anakin Skywalker, the third trilogy was to be about the "other Skywalker" that Yoda talks about in ep V. While writing the final duel between Luke and Vader in ep VI Lucas got stumped on what he could have Vader say to Luke that would cause Luke to attack his father in a dark side fueled rage. To solve this problem he made Leia the "other Skywalker" and had Vader threaten her. That change eliminated the third trilogy leaving us with the 6 movies ... end of story.

You will find people all over who will say, actually lie, that there will be more movies after Lucas dies ... that couldn't be farther from the truth. Lucas has put very specific clauses in his Will that outline his wishes for the franchise after his death. The biggest "clause" states that if any of his "heirs" attempt to make more SW movies after his death, even if it is just one of them and the others disagree, they will loose everything that he left to them in his Will. We're talking a couple of billion dollars in the estate of Lucas so I don't see any of them taking a chance on defying George's wishes.

That being said the 6 SW movies WILL be put out one last time in a true 3-D format ... rumors have this happening in the summer of 2012. The Clone Wars animated series recently ended its second season as the highest rated show in the history of the Cartoon Network so it's a good bet that it the show will be around for a while. Lucas is also working on a live action TV show. This show will be set in between ep III & ep IV and will tell the story of how the Rebellion was formed and there many battles against the Empire leading up to the events of ep IV. This show was supposed to debut this fall (fall of 2010) but it looks much more likely that it will be in the fall of 2010.

May The Force Be With You ...

EDIT: The so-called "scripts" for ep 7 - 9 that "Riley" talks about are a fraud. I can tell you EXACTLY where he "found" them ... supershadow.com ... the biggest fraud site on the net in regards to Star Wars. The has NEVER been any scripts for ep 7 - 9 ... NEVER !!!!!!!
