The journey of European art through history

By the 18th century, European art saw a transition from the old order to the new. In Italy they were maturing into more over the top and elaborate art. The Rococo style emerged from France. Paintings of the Rococo era depicted wealth, indulgence and extravagance. Later, this type of artistic representation faded and a neo-classical approach came into place. In England, British art became more noteworthy and popular. Nobility as well as the middle class had portraits of them painted and landscape painting became a trend with artists representing beautiful places they had seen and visited. Can you identify this painting?
Can anyone identify this painting. In the painting there are two tall buildings and a man appears to be dancing on top of the buildings. I think there may also be a moon visible but I am not sure. I remember seeing a print of this painting in a friends house. Also, I am not sure, but I also think that the painting may have been of Eastern European descent.
I'm going to guess that it's by Marc Chagall -- I know a lot of his paintings have been sold as prints -- but I can't think offhand of which painting this might have been.
