We had a huge fight ... help what can I do??? I miss him.?
My partner of 9years & I had a huge ongoing fight this past couple of months - we are living apart past 6mths - he's been lonely, I've been stressed with study & missing him - he's been detached thinks I left him. But we agreed I should study & now I am nearly finished in 5wks!!! Career will benefit our future. He says he never agreed now ... But he DID!! We have not been able to talk calmly past 2mths & now its over - its been so stressful for us living apart on other sides of the world whilst I've been study & whilst he's been going through issues of his own. I tried to reassure him that I was coming back - through video, email, cards in the post, portrait drawing for birthday etc. He's not touched & thinks its a ploy. Thing is I was trying to keep us close with all this distance & calm him cos he's been so annoyed with me. Now its over & its been a huge fight. We were engaged! Will he calm down, how long, how? I need see to see him after uni but cant afford flight!
Well, all I can say is that if he really loves you he will find a way on how to cope with the distance, and he will wait for you regardless of how hard it has been. I mean he needs to know that you didnt leave just to go on vacations; I bet you were missing him too, and that you too had lonely nights. I guess the best advice I could give you is to be patience and believe on the love between the two of you. Hope that love will conquer.
