Priority custom elements for custom poster printing
While technically, in custom poster printing you can actually do whatever you want, there are still a few priority elements that you should focus on and set in certain original way. Custom poster printing is not just about tweaking a few elements. This is not true customization. To make a truly original and effective color poster, you need to develop creative concepts for a few key important elements. Let me give you five of the major priority custom elements in poster printing. By focusing your efforts on these five elements, your color poster designs should become truly customized and original.
1. The poster dimensions – The first thing that you should always customize are your poster dimensions. You don't really need to follow convention and use the first and most convenient poster dimension for you. Try to actually decide on a poster dimension that will work for your specific design as well as your specific poster deployment strategy. Customize it so that all the spaces work for your design, and of course it should also fit in all the areas where you want your posters to be. So try to think about your poster dimensions carefully and customize it to fit your design and deployment needs.
2. The poster material – Another important thing to customize in your custom posters is the poster printing material. Do not let the poster printing company dictate the materials that they will use for your posters. Make sure that you customize the paper materials, the ink choice and the coatings/finishes for your posters , so that they are ideal for your design. Choose something that enhances the look of your design as well as makes your color posters become more durable and tough.
3. The feature image – Next, we have of course the feature image. While this is an obvious thing that you should customize, you should make sure that your feature image or main image in your color posters are truly original. Do not rely on stock photography or Internet images for your custom poster image. Compose something that is originally your own by taking your own pictures or even developing your own digital graphics. The more original your images are, the more customized your color poster should be. So be creative and create your own poster feature image.
4. The title/headline – Another priority element for customization is the title or headline for your posters. You have to make sure that the title is appealing to your target audiences, while at the same time being original as well. So it is good to always research your options for the title or headline of your custom posters. Make sure that you brainstorm for a lot of different title options and test it out to see what most people will like, and what is the most original as well. That original title or headline is a key part in the identity of your custom poster, so make sure you think about this very carefully.
5. The font styles – Finally, the font style is a key characteristic of any custom poster. So you should always try to choose a great font style that helps customize your designs with your specific theme. There are plenty of different free custom fonts out there that you can choose from. Try to look for the most ideal one for your custom design theme, so that you will be able to integrate your text into the custom poster design easily. Make sure you test several out and see what most people like the best.

How do you make a skirt and top out of poster paper?
I'm going to a anything but clothes party at the end of the month. My idea is to take posters from a music store anything.. like.. led zepplin, the beatles.. etcc... band posters and turn it into an out fit. Does anyone know how I can go about that??
How do I make it so that it won't fall apart when I sit down ??

So essentially you could take any sewing pattern and turn it into a paper made item, all sewing patterns generally start life as paper anyway.
You could collage your posters into large lengths of paper which will become your fabric, and then create them as a normal sewing pattern, following all the directions as if you were sewing. If you used a long stitch on a sewing machine you may be able to get away with it, and then appy tape or glue or more collage over the stitching so it doens't come appart when worn.
Essentially it should work because all the patterns already have the fitting ease in them to allow for movement. But trial and error is probably your best way around it.
