Hi doing a project in school in art lessons and have picked the title 'freedom'. Does anyone know of any paintings offhand which relate to / reflect on freedom in some way? I was thinking of 'the Awakening Consciousness' (pre-raphaelite)..

"Lady Liberty Leading the People," by Eugene Delacroix is about the French revolution.
"The Problem We All Live WIth," by Norman Rockwell, depicts the first African American child to attend an all-white school.
There's "Freedom of Speech," by Norman Rockwell, too. Self explanitory.
And of course, "Washington Crossing the Delaware" by Leutze.
