Will My Custom Outdoor Sign Have The Same Colors As The Design I See On My Computer?
No, the colors won't look exactly the same, and here's why…
Due to the way colors appear on your computer screen versus the way they are printed, the colors on your outdoor business sign may look slightly different from the design you saw on your computer. Whenever something on your computer is reproduced onto paper or any other kind of material, the colors are converted from the electronic display to the pigment on paper. Even when you print something outat home there will be a difference between what you see on the monitor and what you see on the page.
Why do computer colors look different?
Electronics use RGB (red, green and blue) light to display color while printers use CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) ink to display colors. Colors don't match perfectly on screen and printed because of this.
Simply put, what you see on your computer cannot be perfectly reproduced on your custom outdoor sign. The shade of green you choose will be a little bit different, for example. While the difference will be small, it's essential that you know there will be a change.
Why do computer screens look different from printed signs?
There are a few reasons that computer colors look different. First of all, your monitor gives off light while your custom sign reflects light. This makes for a difference in the shade and quality of color. Also, all computors display colors differently. LCD monitors have inferior color quality and resolution than tube monitors, and the way you adjust your monitor changes the way colors look. (To properly calibrate your monitor so it corresponds with CMYK colors as closely as possible, click here.)

I have two Nancy Glazier prints one of Dall sheep and the other of Big Horn sheep....they are numbered 360/1500 and she has signed both....i was told that each would sell for 1500.00 a piece...just wondering if that were true
