Well it looks like even the Tiger can get out of the Woods. Every year Tiger Woods Golf set the target for all over games in this genre. Like the John Madden games set the target for NFL Games Tiger Woods has always set the target for golf games. Despite recent ..should we say troubles, the Tiger has kept his high profile job with EA Sports. After all Lee Westwood golf would be boring, lets be honest!.
This years Tiger Woods golf, Tiger Woods 12 brings you that little bit extra as you can now play the Augusta masters!. The holy grail has finally been brought to Tiger Woods Golf. It seems that the Augusta Master have been saved until the graphics engine can give this glorious course the justice it deserves.
The first thing you will notice about Tiger Woods 12 is the attention to detail as the 3D GRASS acts more like grass and the visual presentation and commentary gives the game that extra bit of realism and adds to the drama.
Personal Opinion
My personal opinion is if you have not bought a Tiger Woods game yet then this is the one for you!. I would usually recommend that you bought an older version of the game to save a couple of pounds but I feel that a golf game without Augusta is like a football game without Wembley.
Life span
The life span of Tiger Woods 12 out does any of its predecessors, with extra dimensions to the game such as working your way through the amateur tour, Qualifying School, and the Nationwide TOUR.

I would have to rate Tiger Woods a strong 9 out of 10. With all its plus points the one thing missing on the game is Rory Mcilroy. Call me picky but Rory is my pick for the masters this years..that would be embarrassing!

The TW series from EA blows chunks. It's too gamey and unrealistic. The ball physics are laughable. Don't waste your time.
The worst thing to ever happen to serious Golf sims (read: SIMULATION) was immersive 3-D. They haven't come close to mastering the realism.
To this very day, the best and most realistic golf sim ever marketed was Microsoft's Links 2001.
